Première Vision 2026: Spring-Summer 27

Key takeaways

  • SS27 positions “Open” as a creative and cultural response to uncertainty, shifting fashion away from retreat toward joy, hybridity, and cross-cultural dialogue, where maximalist textures, expressive colors, and playful reinterpretations of classics redefine the season’s beauty codes.
  • Data-backed insights confirm the rise of joyful and expressive materials, from stripes, gingham, lace, and ornamental surfaces to textured denim and fantasy-driven shirting, with measurable growth across key markets and consumer segments.
  • The Première Vision × Heuritech partnership highlights how data and creativity now work hand in hand, combining AI-powered trend forecasting with savoir-faire ecosystems to help brands better anticipate trend adoption, optimize decision-making, and embed responsibility as a non-negotiable baseline.

In the unsettled context we are navigating, the SS27 theme leans into openness rather than retreat. It reflects a receptive, curious mindset, one that remains attuned to signals from the outside world and open to joy, to elsewhere, and to other forms of otherness.

The season’s key concept is “Open”, serving as the common thread across the three thematics: “Open to Joy”, “Open to Elsewhere”, and “Open to Otherness”.

Première Vision SS27 Color Range

The Première Vision trade show invited Heuritech to join forces, and we contributed to their fashion meetings with our data-driven insights to support SS27 trend forecasts across Colors, Prints, Fabrics, and a focus on Denim. This collaboration provided enhanced visibility into the adoption of these trends, highlighting not only key geo-zones but also the most relevant product categories to prioritize.

We were also invited to present our AI-powered trend forecasting methodology, addressing some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, including overstock management, demand planning, consumer targeting, and the growing need for more relevant, data-backed trend intelligence.

Open to Joy

For Summer 27, one emotion comes to the fore: joy! Intentional and assertive, it reclaims a central role in the creative process. In response to a world shaped by constant urgency, overlapping crises, and social tension, creation increasingly becomes an act of resistance. Shifting from Quiet Luxury and Minimalism toward more of a Maximalist approach, collections channel a renewed sense of joyful vitality, reaffirming the power of play, connection, and genuine emotion.

Conclusion

For SS27, Première Vision ultimately frames materials as a cultural language as much as a sourcing solution, with “Open” inviting designers to move beyond fixed references and embrace joyful hybridity, freer beauty codes, and cross-cultural dialogue. Within this framework, the collaboration with Heuritech resonates as a natural extension of the season’s philosophy: a space where data and creativity reinforce one another to better anticipate how trends take shape, evolve, and gain relevance across markets.

At the same time, the February 2026 edition grounds this openness in “Territories of Savoir-faire”, spotlighting how local craft ecosystems, particularly in France, Portugal, and Japan, are being reactivated through innovation, collaboration, and renewed narratives of value.

In practice, the season reads as a balancing act: expressive surfaces and sensorial color, from Elementary Brown and Biotic Green to Yellow Foam and White Glue, meet a sharper demand for performance-driven elegance, as sport and outdoor references become increasingly decorative, functional, and durable. And behind every aesthetic story sits a non-negotiable brief: circularity, traceability, and responsible manufacturing are no longer add-ons, but the baseline through which desirability is now expected to prove itself.
