Report Key takeaways

Escapism Defines the Season

SS27 is defined by escapism and fluid identity. Whether through the coastal reverie of Salt & Asphalt and Life of Leisure, the rugged landscapes explored in Terrain Theory, or the nostalgic retreat of Analog, each theme represents a different route away from the city and the pressures of digital-age perfection.

The Season's Creative Split

Milan and Paris pulled in opposite directions. Milan leaned into polished heritage tailoring and color (Turquin Blue, V-Neck Jumpers), while Paris pushed a rawer, street-driven energy (Denim Shorts, saturated Green).

Blue Takes the Lead

Warm, earthy neutrals are the season's connective tissue, but blue runs through every theme, whether it's bold Turquoise, vibrant Turquin Blue, classic Navy, or washed out Sky Gray.

Star direction: Slim fit leads the way

Volume loosens almost everywhere. Wide-Leg Jeans, Baggy Shorts, and oversized Casual Shirts all reflect a season-wide preference for ease of movement over structure. Yet, a slimmer countercurrent runs underneath, with ultra-slim silhouettes seen at Prada, Celine, and Acne Studios.
